Day 188: 5 years and counting

on July 6, 2012

It is currently 8.20pm. This time five years ago I was holding a 2-hour-old baby boy. I was also the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I was 27st 2lbs.

An immense amount. I’m in no way small now. I am however 5 stone lighter. I’m also a parent to an incredible bright boy. Who is far to independent and capable for his own good.

I’m proud that I have raised this little person who is capable of standing up for his own beliefs. Albeit frustrated that he can lie far to successfully to get what he wants.

I wonder what the future will hold.

Today’s Activity: Seeing Thing 2 open his birthday presents.
